Based on the type of technology used, the implant procedures at Denttz are categorised in the following way:
Two stage implants: Conducted over two stages that are spread over a minimum duration of 3 months. The first stage requires one or two sessions and is when the implants are placed. The second stage is when the crowns (teeth) are fabricated. This process is relatively obsolete in current dental practices and is only used when single stage implants are not clinically viable.
Single stage implants: This procedure combines both stages into one and necessitates the completion of the entire procedure in one stage that lasts more or less than two weeks. This stage includes extractions, the placement of implants, the fabrication of the crowns (teeth) and their placement. Most implant procedures at Dentzz are done using this procedure.
Immediate implants: This is a highly specialized technique that enable the replacement of teeth in a single day. Most patients are eligible for this process; however scans and a detailed evaluation are necessary to ensure viability.
